Care Guide
Simple care can help your custom pieces look good for longer.
Everyday care
- Turn garments inside out before washing.
- Wash in cold water on a gentle cycle with similar colours.
- Use a mild detergent.
- Avoid bleach and fabric softener on decorated garments.
Drying and ironing
High heat can shorten the life of both the garment and the decoration.
- Tumble dry on low or hang to dry.
- If you iron the garment, turn it inside out and use low to medium heat.
- Do not iron directly over a print, vinyl, embroidery, rhinestones, or other decoration.
Care by decoration
Embroidery
Wash inside out in cold water and avoid ironing directly over the stitching.
If a thread becomes loose, trim it carefully with scissors. Do not pull it.
DTF and printed designs
Turn the garment inside out, wash cold, and tumble dry on low or hang to dry.
Avoid direct heat, harsh scrubbing, and stain treatments on the printed area.
Vinyl
Turn the garment inside out and wash in cold water on a gentle cycle.
Hang drying is best. Avoid ironing directly over the vinyl.
Rhinestones and specialty finishes
These finishes need gentler care. Turn the garment inside out and wash cold on a gentle cycle or by hand.
Lay flat or hang to dry, and do not iron directly over the decoration.
Engraved metal goods
Wash with mild soap and a soft cloth.
Avoid abrasive pads. If the item is not marked dishwasher safe, wash it by hand.
Before the first wash
For newly decorated garments, wait at least 24 hours before the first wash, then follow the care instructions above.
How long will it last?
Embroidery, DTF printing, and vinyl can last for years with proper care.
Rhinestones and specialty finishes are more delicate and last longest with gentle handling.
